Ever watched a Japanese Anime? They are so full of crazy and imaginative themes and characters, you won’t be able to take your eyes off them! Anime has such a massive following, it’s no wonder there areso many different series, movies, and episodes to enjoy. Some Anime series even end up running for decades on end. One such Anime to keep itself going with recent episodes in a new saga is Dragon Ball Z.

Starting off as Dragon Ball and having spin-offs such as Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super, many Anime fans will mainly remember the exploits of Dragon Ball Z.

The gist of Dragon Ball is it follows the adventures of Son Goku, a member of the alien race called Saiyans. Saiyans immensely enjoy fighting and get stronger with every battle. There are heaps of characters in Dragon Ball Z such as Goku’s rival, Vegeta who is also a Saiyan; Piccolo, a member of a race called the Namekians who are green and have regenerative powers; and Master Roshi, a perverted old man who trained Goku in martial arts. The reason for the name Dragon Ball is there are 7 balls that, when gathered in the one place, summon a great dragon who will grant any wish.

In terms of fighting games, Dragon Ball Z has plenty that you can look for in a decent beat-em-up game. A plethora of characters, each with their own fighting techniques and special attacks, and imaginative and expansive environments to fight in.
